Incan Culture

Many sacrificed Inca children -- like "Princess of Ampato,"  were preserved by the cold and high altitudes of the Andes.
This was done to please the mountain gods.

The Incas made roads through out their empire in order to facilitate travel of both goods and people. This is a potion of the road that still exists today.

Post Colonial: I could not find any specific data discussing the current locations of the Incan peoples, but according to the CIA World Factbook the current population of Amerindians in Peru is 45% with 13% speaking Quechua.

Aztec Culture
